Temple

I went to the Timpanogos Temple for the first time ever, and I have one word to say about it. Amazing. That one word pretty much sums up my whole trip.
So me, Spencer, Faith, cousins over twelve, and my Grandparents all went to the temple together, to share the experience together. I have to admit, I was down right terrified that I was going to mess up in the temple, and everything was going to be ruined. When I told my Grandmother this, she told me that it was impossible to mess up in the temple.
After we all gathered at my Grandparents house, we split up into different cars because it was most unlikely for all of the thirteen people into one tiny mini-van.
We got to the temple, and when I looked up at that beautiful building, a feeling of peace swept over me, and I felt all my nerves melt away.
We got inside and everything was just absolutely gorgeous. We got our suits and changed. Faith was being very patient with me and explaining everything to me with a lot of patience (Thank you :-))
We waited in the lobby, and when the time came for us to go into the room for the baptisms, I was all excitement. I feel bad for my Grandpa. He had to do it 60 times! He's got some muscle anyway. When it was my turn, I got into the font of warm water and my grandpa helped me down.
Me and my Dad did a bunch of Family search so that we could find some of our ancestors that needed baptism. Me and him found two together, and my mother found me a couple of names also. I went under the water 6 times and every time I felt the spirit.
I got out and changed into my newer suit that was waiting for me in my locker. I broke my brush trying to get it through my hair so some cousins helped me out, and my head still hurts.
We did the confirmations, and the spirit there was also so strong. I felt my worries, and self-consciousness go away. I loved every second of it and I want to do it again soon. I just imagine the people in heaven rejoicing.
I know that through baptism, we can help people In heaven who didn't have the chance to do it on earth. I know that we can be together forever, through Heavenly Fathers plan. I know that the temple is the house of God, and that my Heavenly Father in heaven cares about all his children, and he wants everyone of them to have the blessing of Baptism, and the holy ghost.
I know these things to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ

Amen.
